Proverbs 3:5-6 is a wonderful and well-known admonition to us to trust in God through all things in our life. Whether it be work or play, in relationships or financial matters, we are to trust in the Lord with ALL our hearts. Of course, to trust in the Lord requires faith. It means that we have learned to completely rely on God’s promises. It means that we believe His presence is not only with us, but that He will guide us. We must come to the same place in our walk with the Lord that we believe whole-heartedly that God is true to His word, that He is able to handle any of our problems, and that He is wise enough to lead us in the right direction. So today as you strive to live a life of worship, concentrate on trusting only Jesus. Your worship really begins here. You already believe in Him as Savior. Now trust Him as guide.
