Distractions are everywhere. That’s why we have to constantly remind ourselves of where are priorities lie. Of course, our priorities should focus on the things that are most important, but sometimes distractions keep us from doing that. I encourage you today to start with the basics. Who are you and why are you here? You are God’s very own and your first priority is to worship Him. Everything else falls underneath that priority. So as you move throughout the day, let everything you do take place under the umbrella of worship. With this mindset, you will discover that your conversations, the way you spend your money, and the way you spend your time will change. Distractions will come, but hold fast to that first priority. It will mold you into the worshiper God created you to be.
