Why do we go to church?

Posted by Charles Billingsley on

There are two kinds of worship. There is individual worship and corporate worship. One doesn’t survive for long without the other.  Individual worship is that one on one time between you and the Lord. Corporate worship is those times when you gather with other believers for the sake of meeting with God.  The most powerful corporate worship happens when the room is filled with passionate individual worshipers. But more than that, corporate worship is that opportunity we have each week to fellowship with and encourage one another, to bear each other’s burdens, and to gather together in unity at the foot of the cross with one heart, one mind, and one purpose.  Bottom line is this…we all need corporate worship. So find a church that you can plug into…and go.  They need you…and you need them.
