Worship that Radiates

Posted by Charles Billingsley on

Have you ever stood in a room that was totally dark, only to discover, as your eyes adjusted, that you could see light seeping in from a corner or from under a doorway?  That’s because just a tiny bit of light goes a long way in a dark room.  And so it is with you and me, believer.  Jesus tells us in Matthew 5 that we are the light of the world.  Just as He came to be a light unto the nations, so we, as His followers, are to reflect His light into the world’s darkness.  Our job is to reflect His light…which, in turn, radiates His Glory.  So guard your heart against anything that would shield you from being that light. Let your light so shine that all may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.  This is worship that radiates.
