As a worship leader, it dawned on me the other day that over 98% of my time is spent off the platform, rather than on it. And really the same applies to all of us. Most of our time is not spent sitting in church. We are out working jobs all week or racing our kids around town. So we must learn to worship as we go. In every moment and in every situation, we can and should worship the Lord. Colossians 3:23 says "In whatsoever you do, do it whole heartedly as to the Lord, and not unto men." In other words, make the focus of all your life about bringing Glory and honor to God. Then on Sunday when you are sitting in church, the worship service will take on a whole new meaning because you're worshiping Jesus the other 98% of your time.
