Worship the Lord through prayer

Posted by Charles Billingsley on

When we pray, we are communicating directly from our heart to the heart of God.  Praying is our opportunity to enter into intimate fellowship with our Savior.  When we pray, it opens our heart to revival and it gives our minds the proper perspective on how to live daily. In his wonderful book, The Circle Maker, Mark Batterson says, “ Who we become is determined by how we pray. Ultimately, the transcripts of our prayers become the script of our lives." What is the story God is writing in your life? What does that script look like? Are you close enough to God to recognize His voice as He gives you direction in your time of prayer?  Do you pray consistently?  Do you pray expectantly?  Do you pray fervently? It is quite the challenge for us all, but prayer is a vital discipline we must develop as we live a life of worship.
