It's April fool's day! And I'm sure many of you have a few tricks up your sleeve to share with your friends. Oh, it's one thing to act foolishly as we cut up with our friends, but quite another to live our lives foolishly. This is what the Bible refers to over and over…cautioning us to steer clear of believing foolish things and living foolish lives. Psalm 14:1 says, “ The fool has said in his heart there is no God" and Proverbs reminds us "the way of the fool is right in his own eyes." Many times in Scripture we are warned about thinking and living foolishly…mostly in reference to a lack of morality in our character. So, go ahead and enjoy the fun of this day, but remember to LIVE foolishly in the eyes of God is no joking matter. He demands a lifestyle of worship, a commitment to His word, and a discipline to make wise choices…not foolish ones.
