When an athlete is striving to win a championship, he or she cannot do so without that special intangible attribute called the will. The athlete must have the will to win, or they will not win. There has to be that certain "want to" that comes from deep within their heart, or a championship is almost impossible to achieve. Others have referred to this "will" as having the "heart of a champion." It is with this same mindset that we should approach worshiping the Lord each day. Jesus says the greatest commandment of all is to worship the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. So approach your worship of God today as an athlete would...with a disciplined, determined and diligent will.
