The Bible says the peace of God passes all understanding. The word "understanding" is a direct reference to our thoughts. So, if you want the perfect peace of God in your life, then it begins with your thought life. We have been making our way through Philippians 4:8 these last few days. It is in this verse that Paul tells us to think on things which are true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report. He encourages us to fix our minds on things are are worthy of praise and to consider deeply the words of wisdom we have been taught in Scripture, and then put them into practice. It is then, that Paul says we will experience the peace of God. Want some peace in your day? Then practice what you think.
