Righteous thinking leads to righteous living.

I have used a little saying with my kids for many years that simply goes like this: "Do what's right." As they have grown up, "Do what's right" has taken on a much deeper meaning.  Where it used to mean something so trivial as don't take a cookie from the cookie jar, it now means, don't fall into the trappings of sin and selfishness that can take you way farther down a road of destruction than you had ever planned.  Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:8 to think on things which are true, noble, and righteous.  Our bodies cannot do anything our brains don't tell them to do, so living a lifestyle of worship begins with the mind..and choosing to place those minds intentionally on that which is righteous.
