If your mind is in the right place, then your worship will be also.

Each and every day we are faced with many decisions to either choose to do what is right, or do what is wrong.  But, the decision is made much easier when we have already predetermined in our minds to do that which is right.  Spiritual growth begins in the mind, and it is in the mind that we decide what to do and when to do it.  It is so important for our minds to think on things which are true and noble or honorable.  "It is," as Dr. Jeremiah says, "the outside action of the Word of God that triggers the inside action of the Holy Spirit. " When we do as Paul says in Philippians 4:8 and think on things which are true and noble, the issue of how to handle certain decisions is made easy.  Our minds are already made up…to do that which is honorable to God. And that, my friends, is an act of worship.
