Have you ever renovated part of your home or office? If you have, then you realize it takes several major steps to accomplish it. It starts with the vision for what you want to change, then leads to the plans and drawings so you can see that vision on paper. That, in turn, leads to the tearing down of the old in order to make way for the new; and finally, the construction and finished product. In the same way, this is how God changes us from the inside out when we renovate or transform our thought life from one that has been "conformed to this world" to one that is Godly. Sincere worship begins in the mind. And just like renovating a home, we must allow God to tear down those old walls in order to clean us up and renew our thoughts on that which is pure and honoring to Him.
