God is in the business of surprises. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown in your honor? It can be an exciting time, but it can also be a major disruption to your plans. As we begin this new year, one thing we need to remember is that God's time table operates differently than ours. God has a plan and a purpose for all of our lives, and often He surprises us with an interruption to our daily routine that will cause us to reconsider His will. However, we can prepare for it. I encourage you to live a lifestyle that draws close to Him daily, so when those surprises come, you are prepared... ready to respond to His will, both actively and obediently.
