Worship for a lifetime

Posted by Charles Billingsley on

Picture yourself at 75 years old. Life is slower. The crazy pace of emails, texts, phone calls and meetings are now tucked away in your memory and now you have much more time to sit and to reflect. What kind of memories do you think you will have at that age?  What kind of relationships will you still have intact?  What sort of regrets do you think you will have?  One way to be certain you live a life that is full of adventure and void of regrets is to live each and every moment to the glory of God.  It’s amazing what happens when your focus is first to love God with all your heart.   This keeps your life clean from habitual sin.  It keeps your relationships with others properly focused.  And it will keep your heart and mind on the right priorities day in and day out.  If you make worship a lifestyle for a lifetime, your life will be blessed, and when you get to the end, you will be able to look back and realize that your life has blessed many others.  But most importantly, you will realize that your life has been well-spent pleasing God.
