Do you spend time with God? I mean real time…in times of prayer and study of His word. Often I've been guilty of skipping moments with the Lord. Or I'll just read a verse or two to get the legalistic part of me off my back, and then move on throughout my day. But, that does little to help me grow closer to Jesus. I want to encourage you to pick a time each day and meet with God. Guard it as though it were a doctor's appointment. For this is daily surgery on your soul.
