Is your worship upside down?

In Romans Chapter 1, Paul explains in great detail that there are certain "invisible attributes” or signs of God that can be clearly seen by all mankind, thereby giving none of us an excuse for not giving Him glory. As The Message tells us that people knew God perfectly well, but when they didn't treat him like God, refusing to worship Him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense not direction left in their lives.  They pretended to know it all, yet in reality, knew nothing of the truth and grace of God.  So, the result is a trade...they trade the glory of the Creator, who holds the whole world in His hands, for the elements of creation. To be sure, the beauty of a mountain or tree gives testimony to the glory of God.  But it is not an object that is to be worshiped itself.  That's worship upside down.  That is worshiping a man-made God instead of the God who made man.  So today, make sure your worship is right side up…worship the one and only Creator God who made you and loves you and gave Himself for you.  He is the only hope you have.
