In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God gives us a clear 4-step process to personal revival. "If my people will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways. Then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” So the first step is to humble ourselves in the sight of God. How do you do that? It starts on our knees. We must get to the place in our lives where our sole desire is to be who God wants us to be which then leads to doing what God wants us to do. Today I encourage you to relinquish a little control over your life into the hands of Almighty God. Focus on who you are becoming over and above what you are doing, and place yourself in a position of humility before the Lord. You will find that "God is especially responsive to worshipers who humbly request the right things for the right reasons.”
