Open your eyes to the glory of God's creation

Posted by Charles Billingsley on

Albert Einstein once said "He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed."  How long has it been since you took just 15 minutes to pause and open your eyes to the beauty of God's creation around you?  Whether it be the majesty of the mountains, the glorious vastness of the oceans, or the simple fluttering of a butterfly...the beauty and wonder of creation is all around us, pointing praise to our Creator.  Let me encourage you to open your eyes to the splendor in your midst and to take care of God's creation as an act of worship.  Go ahead and live a little greener, pick up that litter you see on the ground, get outside on a sunny day and take it all in.  Then remember, God put all this here for us. Thank Him for it, and honor Him with it.
